On Monday, July 13th, 2020, Governor Newsom announced that all gyms and fitness centers in 30 counties across California will need to be closed again until further notice due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Your local Fitness 19 will be temporarily closed for workouts until further notice. Unfortunately a firm reopening date has not been released yet.
We want to encourage all our members to stay active, keep moving, and stay engaged. Our free live classes and home workouts will continue on Instagram and Youtube. Your physical and mental health is important to us. We will open our doors again as soon as we are allowed to do so.
We are devastated to close our doors again when so many of you have come back and happily embraced the protocols to keep yourselves, your loved ones, other Fitness 19 members, and our staff safe. Our staff and our members were all working so hard, going above and beyond the safety requirements, to reopen our gyms to our fitness community. We want to say a big THANK YOU to all our members for supporting us through this crisis and us over the past 17 years! Your words of encouragement and loyalty during this time has been the fuel we needed to keep going
Many members have asked questions about member billing. Rest assured we will do everything we can to put our members first. Please note, that for many of you, your July 14th and 15th billing was already invoiced. Like the initial closures we will make sure no member pays for time they could not use during the temporary closures. You will receive a credit or prorated dues for time the gym was unavailable once Fitness 19 is able to determine the extent of the closure. If you have any questions, your local Fitness 19 Club Manager and Team Members will assist you. And don’t worry, all personal training, membership dues, and annual fee billing moving forward will be FROZEN until your Fitness 19 location reopens.
